Sharad Vesawkar will retire from all forms of cricket after the Hong Kong Sixes tournament.

Nepalese cricketer Sharad Vesawkar will retire from all forms of cricket after the upcoming Hong Kong Sixes tournament, according to The Kathmandu Post. The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) plans to pay tribute to his contributions to the country's cricketing history.

Vesawkar's final appearance for the Nepal national team was in 2022. He will captain Nepal in the Hong Kong Sixes, which is scheduled from November 7-9 at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground.

Vesawkar began his cricketing journey in 2002 and was part of Nepal's first-ever first-class, ODI, and T20I matches. He is recognized for his role in securing Nepal's qualification for the 2014 ICC T20 World Cup, where he scored the winning runs against Hong Kong in the qualifiers. He also played in Nepal's first ODI match against the Netherlands in 2018.
